Abstract: A headband for a headset comprising a carrier, a first strap and a wrapping is disclosed. The carrier is curved to conform to a wearer's head. The first strap is attached to the carrier at two attachment points. The wrapping is attached to the carrier and arranged to conceal the first strap. The first strap and the wrapping together form a head abutment portion extending between the two attachment points and configured to abut to the wearer's head when the headband is worn by the wearer. At least one of the first strap and the wrapping comprises a flexible and elastic material configured to stretch along the length of the carrier between the two attachment points, thereby providing the head abutment portion configured to adapt to the shape of the wearer's head.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an ear model unit for electroacoustic testing. The ear model unit is configured to be connected to an electrodynamic vibrator. The ear model unit comprises an elastomer part formed from an elastomer and a rigid element connected to the elastomer part. The rigid element comprises means for connecting to the electrodynamic vibrator and it is configured to cause vibration of the elastomer part upon being excited by the electrodynamic vibrator. Also described and recited are an apparatus and a method for performing the electroacoustic testing.

Abstract: For video applications, a method for dynamically switching from a current ROI to a target ROI is disclosed, wherein the target ROI only includes active speakers. Advantageously, if the target ROI crops a non-speaker, then the target ROI is expanded to include said non-speaker. Transitioning from the current ROI to the target ROI may be achieved based on a cutover transition technique, or a smooth transition technique. The cutover transition technique achieves the change from the current arrived to the target ROI in a single interval, whereas the smooth transition technique achieves the change over a number of intervals, wherein a percentage of the total change required is allocated to each interval. A system for implementing the above method is also disclosed.
