The first water cleansing jet is disposed within the throat. The flush toilet also includes a second water cleansing jet for supplying cleansing water onto the waste receiving surface. The second water cleansing jet is also disposed within the throat, with the second water cleansing jet being offset from the first water cleansing jet.
