The charging cable can be electrically connected to the electric charging unit by way of a plug-and-socket connection. The charging station has six electric taps, and the charging cable has six electric lines. In order to charge the electric energy storage device, the six electric taps of the charging station are connected in the same configuration with the six electric lines of the charging cable, and the six electric lines of the charging cable are connected in the same configuration with at least four electric contacts of the electric charging unit.
