A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a media processor including a controller to receive a broadcast of media content comprising three-dimensional image content for presentation on a display device operably coupled with the media processor, adjust the broadcast of the media content to comprise two-dimensional image content, and present the media content on a display device, wherein the controller adjusts the media content to comprise the two-dimensional image content during presentation of the broadcast of the media content on the display device.
