Certain embodiments include a main unit that includes a controller configured to control timing indicators on a front surface of the main unit and light sensor modules attached to the periphery the front surface. The main unit can be configured to accept an image quality test chart. The light sensors can be configured to be coupled to the periphery of the image quality test chart or coupled to extended wired or wireless connections to provide flexible field of view placement. The display includes LED or LCD timing indicators.
