A backlight unit according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a plurality of lamps; a common electrode electrically connected to an electrode of any one of the lamps; and a lower side support that supports the common electrode and that includes a shielding part, wherein the shielding part is in between a portion of the common electrode and the electrode.
