An electric element is arranged in the lamp vessel and is connected to current conductors which issue from the lamp vessel to the exterior. A lamp cap is connected to the lamp vessel. The lamp cap has a housing which includes a coupler formed as an integral whole with the housing. The coupler and the housing share an integral, resilient intermediate portion.
