A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving first information to enable transmission of an indicator indicating transmission of a beam report and transmitting, based on the first information, the indicator. The method further includes receiving second information related to one or more channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resources for the beam report; measuring, based on the second information, the one or more CSI-RS resources for the beam report; and transmitting the beam report.
