This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for image signal processing detect and correct motion during HDR fusion. In a first aspect, a method is provided that includes receiving a first image frame, a second image frame, and a third image frame. The second image frame may be captured with a short exposure time and the third image frame may be captured with a long exposure time. The method may include determining a first motion map based on the first and third image frames and a second motion map based on the second and third image frames. A third motion map may be determined based on the first and second motion maps and used to determine a fourth image frame by combining the second and third image frames.
