The screen assembly includes a base component being configured for being arranged in an interior of an instrument panel or in an interior of a center console of the vehicle. Moreover, the screen assembly includes a screen component including a screen unit being configured for displaying information for a user of the vehicle. A translational guiding means is kinematically arranged between the screen component and the base component such that the screen component is translationally movable relative to the base component. Moreover, a first rotational guiding means is kinematically arranged between the screen component and the base component such that the screen component is tiltable. Additionally, a method for controlling a position of a screen component in an interior of a vehicle is presented. Furthermore, a data processing apparatus and a screen system for an interior of a vehicle are explained.
