A method and apparatus for conditioning an RV/Marine toilet bowl seal are disclosed, including providing an apparatus comprising a plug comprising a handle portion; and a solid foam coupled to the handle portion; wherein the handle portion is configured to allow a user to insert or remove the solid foam of the plug from a discharge opening of an RV/Marine toilet bowl; and wherein the solid foam is configured to make contact with at least a portion of the RV/Marine toilet bowl seal; pouring a conditioner into the discharge opening of the RV/Marine toilet bowl; inserting the plug into the discharge opening of the RV/Marine toilet bowl such that the solid foam contacts with at least a portion of the RV/Marine toilet bowl seal; and rotating the plug by about a quarter of a turn.
