The electronic device includes an input device configured to receive a touch gesture that includes a drawing action, a display configured to output a drawing to an area corresponding to the touch gesture, and a processor configured to identify a number of drawing actions that are input into each unit portion in the area based on the drawing action, and a number of touches input into each unit portion in the area, and determine display attributes of the drawing in each unit portion based on the number of drawing actions and the number of touches, wherein the drawing action includes a touch from a time when a touch input occurs to a time when the touch input ends.
