The method includes generating biometric information using at least one sensor of the electronic device, and storing the generated biometric information in a memory of the electronic device, generating access right information relating to the biometric information, determining whether an external electronic device is connected to the electronic device, and when the external electronic device is connected to the electronic device, transmitting the generated access right information to the external electronic device.
