The sensor arrangement includes a magnetic arrangement which has a magnetic field distribution in the sensing direction, and includes a magnetic field sensor. The magnetic arrangement and the magnetic field sensor are arranged in such a way that the magnetic field sensor senses different magnetic field strengths in different positions of the movable element in the sensing direction. The magnetic arrangement has at least two magnets whose magnetic field distributions are combined with one another in such a way that an approximately linear characteristic curve of the sensor arrangement occurs at least over a section in the sensing direction.
