The signals as the output video signal drive associated areas obtained by dividing a display-capable area of the display unit. In accordance with the display unit, the predetermined number of signals is set so that the clock frequency of each of the signals output as the output video signal is less than or equal to a clock frequency that can be processed by the display unit.
