A tightening mechanism pulls a second end in the lengthwise direction of the cable tie band part relative to a head part via operation of the first operating part. A holding mechanism holds the second end in the lengthwise direction of the band part pulled by the tightening mechanism to prevent a return movement. Second operating parts are provided to shift positions relative to the tool body. A fastening mechanism secures the second end of the band part in response to the operation of the second operating parts. Third operating parts are provided to shift positions relative to the tool body. A cutting mechanism cuts the second end of the band part in the lengthwise direction in response to the operation of the third operating parts.
