The method includes: configuring a third person perspective view, the third person perspective view being a video shooting perspective view of a virtual controller; obtaining location information of the virtual role in the virtual reality application; obtaining current orientation information of the third person perspective view, which is orientation information of the third person perspective view virtual camera in the virtual reality application; obtaining, according to the location information of the virtual role and the current orientation information of the third person perspective view, scene data corresponding to the virtual reality application in which the virtual role is currently located; and capturing and displaying actions of the target virtual object according to the scene data.
