The beneficial effects are that the display device has the quantum rod light-emitting layer with polarization ability disposed on an external surface of the liquid crystal display panel, and by a combination of excitation of the quantum rod, polarization property of fluorescence spectroscopy, and ability of the liquid crystal to change polarization, a liquid crystal television having high brightness and high color gamut can be carried out.
