A network sharing method is provided for a first electronic device, the first electronic device having a communication module that establishes a connection with at least one second electronic device through the communication module working in a second working mode. The first electronic device may receive access information of available access point from at least one second electronic device, where the access information is searched by the at least one second electronic device while maintaining the second communication with the first electronic device. The second communication connection with the at least one second electronic device may be disabled by the first communication module and the first communication module may be switched from the second working mode to first working mode. An embodiment may thereafter connect to the available access point through the communication module working in the first working mode such that the Internet is accessed through the available access point.
