The apparatus further includes a control module configured to determine a first cell identifying information of the mobile communication system based on the receive signal information, and configured to estimate an interfering signal information transmitted by a second cell of the mobile communication system based on the receive signal information. The interfering signal comprises control or payload data information of a second transceiver. The control module is further configured to detect a synchronization signal information transmitted for the cell based on the receive signal information and the interfering signal information. The control module is further configured to identify the first cell identifying information based on the synchronization signal information.
