The invention provides a novel compound feed additive. The feed additive comprises the following components in parts by weight of 1-10 parts of plant essential oil, 1-10 parts of at least one of medium-chain fatty acids and glyceride thereof, 30-50 parts of organic acidity, 10-30 parts of inactivated lactic acid bacteria, and 30-50 parts of an excipient. Through the adoption of the novel compoundfeed additive disclosed by the invention, the production performance of animals can be effectively improved, the weight of piggy is increased, the feed conversion rate is reduced, and the diarrhoea rate is reduced; through the adoption of the novel compound feed additive, the market appearing rate of chickens can also be increased, and the rate of second-class chicken is reduced; through the adoption of the novel compound feed additive, the case rate of aquatic product breeding animals can also be reduced, and the production performance is improved; and the novel compound feed additive can beused as a substitute of growth promotion type antibiotics added to ration of breeding animals.
