The invention discloses a compressor or expansion machine which can make a fluid working medium compressed or expanded, comprises a cylinder body 1, a rotor 2, sliding sheets 3, end covers 4, bearings 5, unloading rings 6 and unloading ring end sleeves 7 and is characterized in that the unloading ring end sleeves 7 are installed in the cylinder body 1; orifices 9 are formed in the unloading ring end sleeves 7 respectively; and the working medium can pass through each orifice 9 in the corresponding unloading ring end sleeve 7.
