An electrophotographic photoreceptor having at least a photosensitive layer upon a conductive substrate and wherein the photosensitive layer is a laminate having a charge transport layer and a charge generation layer. The charge transport layer contains at least four types of compounds having maximum absorption wavelengths present in a wavelength range of 300-600 nm, in a tetrahydrofuran solution at 25 DEG C. of the at least four compounds, the maximum absorption wavelengths present in the wavelength range for the at least four compounds are separated by at least 10 nm.
