Provided is a feeding device (1) with an upper vertical fiber chute (4) for supplying the fibers of fiber blocks to carding mechine, which supplies the fibers or fiber blocks to rolls (6,8,10) to loosen fibers. The feeding device has a lower fiber chute (12) which receives fibers released from rolls (6,8,10). A fiber layer (54) is discharged from the bottom end of the lower fiber chute (12) and is delivered to a mesh belt (50) which is absorbed from the bottom end of the lower fiber chute (12).
